AOPHA.
AOPHA is The Advocate of Not-For-Profit Services for Older Ohioans. It is Ohio’s resource for advocacy, education, and promotion of public awareness on behalf of not-for-profit providers pursuing excellence in serving older adults. As a statewide nonprofit trade association, AOPHA represents nearly 300 not-for-profit providers of senior housing (both subsidized and market rate), adult day care, home- and community-based services, assisted living, and skilled nursing.


Kensington Place at Lutheran Village. Kensington Place is an elegant, expense-inclusive senior independent living setting where up to 200 residents live in apartments ranging in size from studio to three bedrooms. Lutheran Social Services of Central Ohio, the area's largest not-for-profit service provider offering a birth-to-death continuum of care to people of all faiths, cultural backgrounds, and heritage, owns and operates Kensington Place at Lutheran Village of Columbus.

HCR ManorCare/The Village at Westerville Retirement and Assisted Living Center.
Upscale living arrangements that provide security, fine dining, socializing, and 24-hour nursing and personal care services to residents. Both the Retirement Center and its sister facility, The Village at Westerville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, are operated through HCR ManorCare, a leading long-term health care provider with approximately 350 nursing homes and assisted living centers across the country.

LifeCare Alliance.
Formed in 1898, LifeCare Alliance pioneered the delivery of community health and nursing services in Columbus, Ohio and has been central Ohio’s premier Meals-on-Wheels provider for 30 years. The not-for-profit organization’s programs, made possible through charitable, public, and private contributions and volunteer support, also include the Visiting Nurse Association, the Columbus Cancer Clinic, home health aides, dietitians, wellness and senior community centers, and Project OpenHand Columbus, which is dedicated to meeting the nutritional needs of area men, women, and children with HIV/AIDS.
